At Revel Real Estate, we are proud to support the places we live, work and play. That’s why, quarterly, we donate 1% of all company profits right back into our community, to the incredible organizations who support our kids, seniors and those who might need a little extra help. This is the last week of the Whitefish Community Foundation’s Great Fish Challenge, a six-week fundraising campaign for Flathead Valley nonprofits. For those still looking for an opportunity to give-back, now is the time!
To help jump-start your giving, we’re highlighting some of the nonprofits we’ve donated to over the past year (who are also participating in this Challenge), and why we think they’re worthy of your attention (and donation). So, read on, and then head over to the Great Fish Challenge website where you can submit your donations – the Challenge ends at 5:00PM on Friday, September 16!
The Samaritan House
The Samaritan House was the first nonprofit Revel Real Estate donated to, after our founding in late 2020. Their organization provides shelter and basic needs for homeless people, while fostering self respect and human dignity. Their clients are homeless, not hopeless. Donations will support their goal of ending homelessness for families and individuals in the Flathead Valley.

Nate Chute Foundation
The Nate Chute Foundation was the second nonprofit organization Revel donated to. This incredible organization empowers our community to reduce suicide and suicide attempts by providing education, resources and connections for responding to our friends and neighbors experiencing mental health challenges. The Nate Chute Foundation was founded in 1999 following the suicide death of Nate Chute, an 18 year-old graduate of Whitefish High School. The idea for the Foundation came from Nate’s friends, who wanted to help make sure a tragedy like this did not happen again. Today, NCF offers evidence-based training and education to area schools and organizations to help identify suicidal behavior and build resiliency, as well as providing financial assistance for professional counseling to those at risk of suicide.

Sparrow’s Nest of NW Montana
We proudly donated to Sparrow’s Nest of NW MT last year, helping them ensure safe, supportive housing and resources for unaccompanied homeless high school students in the Flathead Valley. Not only do they operate a home for homeless high school students, focused on 13-19 year olds, with 8 bedrooms, but they also enable them to graduate from high school, becoming productive members of our community.

Backpack Assistance Program
No one should ever go hungry, or worry about where their next meal comes from. For kiddos in our town who are subject to food insecurity, the Backpack Assistance Program improves their well-being by providing nutritious supplemental food during the weekend and on school closure days. We are proud to have donated to the Backpack Assistance Program during this year’s Great Fish Challenge.
