My wife and I were tired of the hustle and bustle of Seattle and wanted to raise our kids in a smaller town with good schools, close to nature, in a house with some land and trees. We’d been going up to Flathead for many years for vacation and Whitefish began to feel like home to us.
As a newcomer to Whitefish and still living in Seattle, we needed to find someone we could trust on the ground. Right up front it was clear that Kelly got it. He understood our needs perfectly and played the essential role of counselor laying out the whole picture rather than trying to ever rush or sell us on anything. Kelly exceeded our expectations on every level and was always available to us. He always went the extra mile from representing us at a city planning meeting, getting us detailed engineering drawings of the adjoining street, getting estimates from multiple builders, and finding a surveyor at the eleventh hour to address a discrepancy in acreage.
We were worried about being outsiders, but during this home buying process, he’s hooked us up with a ton of smart and interesting people who have welcomed us with open arms. Ultimately, the decision for us to make the move came down to the people and community of Whitefish and Kelly is the finest example of what makes Whitefish great.
