For Katherine Sivanish, being a Real Estate agent is the perfect combination of her “I’m on it” mentality and her passion for helping people.

The daughter of an entrepreneur, Katherine grew up in a household where the “I’m on it” and “just do it” mentality was instilled. Owning their own family business (her family owns Subway Restaurant chains across the Northwest) meant taking charge and working hard to instill relationships were fostered, contracts negotiated and employees mentored. The family’s dining room table was the hub of customer service, and Katherine watched – and eventually joined – as her dad invited employees and clients to the table, always ensuring they were heard, understood and appreciated.

As well as acting as the family’s bookkeeper, Katherine spent years honing in her abilities in buying, selling and forecasting, first as the Northwest sales rep for a golf clothing company, and then, as a buyer and merchandiser for The Golf Club at Black Rock in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

After she and her husband relocated to the Flathead Valley in 2010, Katherine immersed herself in her new community, all the while balancing her other roles. She has been extremely involved in the Whitefish Schools PTA (as a FIT Rep) as well as an ice skating instructor at Whitefish’s Stumptown Ice Den. Through her service, Katherine has been twice honored as one of Whitefish’s “Top Volunteers of the Year.”

It was through this dedication to her community and her incredible ability to connect people that led Katherine into Real Estate. She is a connector, go getter and risk taker, and prides herself on being a passionate and personable friend and advocate who works hard to help her clients achieve their goals and get what they want. While her attention to detail is unparalleled, her true “super power” is her level-headedness, as Katherine can maintains an incredible level of calm, even in the face of a storm (or the chaos during contract negotiations).

Her favorite part of the real estate experience is joining her clients-turned-friends at the closing table, when excitement and happiness can replace the anticipation and anxiety that built up throughout the process.

When she’s not helping her clients buy and sell their Montana dreams, you can find Katherine and her husband chasing after their 3 kids (ages 11, 8 and 4), skiing, ice skating and camping throughout Northwest Montana.
