2021 A Record Year for Waterfront Real Estate

2021 was a record-setting year for waterfront real estate in Western Montana. Last year, Whitefish Lake saw 15 closed transactions*, ranging in list price from $1.6M to $5.7M. On Flathead Lake, we saw 70 transactions record, with list prices ranging from $750K to $20M. (Data reported is residential sales only with direct/navigable water access, as identified by the MLS).

Local publication The Daily Interlake recently published an article highlighting the intensity of sales on Flathead Lake, that saw an 81% increase in average sales price between 2021 and 2022. Read more about it HERE.
